Capitol City Legal Professionals Association ("CCLPA") is a local association of Legal Secretaries, Incorporated. One of our main purposes is to provide low-cost, quality education to Sacramento County's legal community. We offer the following educational opportunities:

• Basic Civil Litigation Class: This eight-week class is offered each year. Taught by experienced legal secretaries and paralegals, it is designed to provide an in-depth look at the civil litigation process in Sacramento County, including the Accelerated Civil Trial program. Tests are given and Certificates of Completion are earned by students who successfully complete the course.
• "Lunchtime Learning" Sessions: Offered throughout the year, these small group learning sessions feature lawyers, experienced legal secretaries, paralegals and other legal support services providing a concentrated one-hour educational experience on various topics of interest to the legal community, for a minimum cost. Attendees bring their "brown bag" lunch, CCLPA provides drinks and cookies and everyone learns together.
• Monthly Educational Meetings: Our General Membership meetings, held monthly, also feature local attorneys or legal support service members in an educational program of interest to the legal community.
• Seminars/Workshops: Workshops and seminars are held through the year on a variety of topics.
